Biography

Thomas R. Jarvis has been admitted to the bar in the State of New York since 2011. Mr. Jarvis received his B.S. degree from New York University and his J.D. degree from Brooklyn Law School. Clinics and Internships at Brooklyn Law included New York State Attorney General’s Office, Kings County District Attorney’s Office, Safe Horizon Domestic Violence Law Project, and Queens County District Attorney’s Office. Prior to Law School, Mr. Jarvis worked for many years in software development for a major legal publisher.

Mr. Jarvis has litigated workers’ compensation cases from both the claimant and carrier side. Mr. Jarvis has conducted trials, negotiated awards and settlements, taken testimony of claimants and lay witnesses, deposed medical witnesses, evaluated claims, written appeals and rebuttals, and communicated with both claimants and claims handlers. This broad and deep perspective enables Mr. Jarvis in advancing the interests of our clients and obtaining the best possible results for their claims.
