Biography
James Hilmoe is an Associate Attorney at Bangel, Cohen & Falconetti, representing injured workers in workers’ compensation matters.
Raised in the Bay Area in California, James had a diverse background in teaching, coaching, and technology prior to pursuing his career in law. He earned his Bachelor of Arts from Humboldt State University in 2011 and his Juris Doctor from St. John’s University School of Law in 2019, before being admitted to the New York State Bar in 2020.
Since 2021, James has focused his practice on Workers’ Compensation, having gained valuable experience on both the claimant and defense sides of the law. Having handled matters from both perspectives, he brings a well-rounded and strategic approach to every case. James is dedicated to advocating for injured workers, guiding them through the workers’ compensation process, and ensuring they receive the full compensation and medical benefits they are entitled to for their lost time and injuries.
