Biography
Antonio J. Otero has more than twenty-five (25) years of experience in Workers’ Compensation and Alternative Dispute Resolution. After initially representing insurance carriers, Mr. Otero is now a Partner dedicated his practice to representing injured workers. Born and raised in New York City, where he still resides, he comes from an immigrant family and is committed to fighting for injured workers’ rights. He is also a strong supporter of unions, with close ties to many union organizations and a union family background. His grandfather was a union welder at Con Edison, his grandmother was a union seamstress and proud member of the ILGWA, and both his mother and wife are members of the UFT.
Mr. Otero participates in many union functions and regularly attends meetings and conferences to educate the union membership and various workers’ groups. Mr. Otero is fluent in Spanish and is involved in many Hispanic and immigrant causes supporting many organizations.
